Initial Meeting

Our process starts with an initial meeting so we can get to know each other. We will identify your needs, find out what your goals and concerns are, help you navigate the estate planning and healthcare questionnaires, and answer general estate planning questions. This initial consultation lasts anywhere between 15-30 minutes, and it will be done via an online platform like Zoom, GoToMeeting, FaceTime, etc., or by phone.

Design Meeting

During this meeting, which can last up to two hours, we will go over your completed questionnaire in detail and we will design the estate plan that is perfectly tailored for you. Do you have a large estate plan? We will devise an estate plan using special techniques to lower and even eliminate potential estate tax liability.

Document Signing

After you have reviewed the first draft of your estate plan and we have made all the changes to your satisfaction, we will schedule a signing meeting where the final documents will be signed by you, in the presence of a notary and witnesses. After signing, we will discuss what you need to do in order to transfer your assets to the trust, a process referred to as “funding the trust.”
